UV and Fading – Traditional dyeing processes only leave colours on the surface of fibre, so they easily fade. Sunbrella Upholstery Fabric is a densely woven outdoor fabric, full of rich colour. Made from 100% solution dyed acrylic fibres which are saturated to the core with highly UV-stable pigments making the fabric resistant to fading and degrading effects of sunlight. The Sunbrella collection is also treated with Cleangard to hold up stains, salt water, chlorine and weather-related chemicals.
Bleach Cleanable – Because colour goes to the core of Sunbrella fibres, Sunbrella fabrics can be cleaned with solvents such as bleach without losing colour.
